Are you passionate about making a difference and ready to inspire learners? We’re looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic professional to provide cover for our Steps and Progression classes AND deliver engaging sessions in English, Maths, and Employability Skills!

This flexible hourly paid contract as a Lecturer in Foundation and Supported Learning lets you bring your energy and expertise to a variety of learners, helping them grow and succeed every step of the way.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education to level 3 or above and/or a professional qualification in relevant subject area or equivalent
  • Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or C and above / CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalent
  • Level 5 Teaching Qualification / completing within 3 years of employment or 3 years of the first available course

Essential Experience:

  • Significant recent experience of teaching learners aged 14-16/16-18 who are disadvantaged and experience barriers to learning
  • A proven experience of utilising a range of support strategies that have influenced positive change in the attitude and behaviours of young people
  • Experience of teaching students with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties
