Job Title: Progress and Destination Tutor – Braintree
(37 hours P/W - 38 weeks Term Time)
As a Progress and Destination Tutor You'll collaborate closely with curriculum and teaching staff to provide tailored support that empowers students to thrive. Your mission? To help every learner progress confidently through their programme, gain vital skills, and reach their next big step, whether that's further education, training, or employment. Your impact will directly boost the College’s success in retention, attendance, and positive student outcomes!
In this role, you’ll take the lead in delivering engaging weekly group tutorials, based on a series of centrally agreed themes. You’ll spark meaningful conversations, adapt content to suit the needs of your tutor groups, and bring topics to life in a way that resonates with their course and career goals.
You'll also support a personal caseload of students, tracking attendance, identifying those at risk, and providing focused guidance to help them reach their full potential.
Flexibility is key, you’ll be working across one or more curriculum areas as needed, always bringing your passion, energy, and commitment to student success.
