We are seeking a People and Culture Administrator to join our team. In this role you will support the Learning and Development Manager (L&D Manager) with the training lifecycle from onboarding staff to setting up mandatory training and running reports to ensuring the training has been completed. You will work closely with the L&D Manager to add training data to the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and Learning Management System (LMS).

About the role:

  • Provide administrative support for L&D, including onboarding, setting up mandatory training and monitoring reports with accuracy and efficiency in processing.
  • Organising and maintaining L&D records for employees, entering data on the HRIS, ensuring the Single Central Record (SCR) is kept up to date.
  • Assisting the L&D Manager, respond to enquiries and queries from internal and external stakeholders, in person by email, Teams, and telephone to ensure the collective monitoring of email inboxes.
  • Provide full administration support to ensure that staff development activities are delivered.  Support to the L&D manager for the College’s Personal Development days, which will include liaising with both internal and external presenters to arrange training and scheduling training activity.
  • Assist to maintain L&D processes, procedures and systems that accurately record specific training and development information.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the L&D Team, managing the L&D email inbox, responding to emails and escalating queries where necessary. A good working knowledge of Excel and Outlook are required.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or C and above / CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalent.

Essential Experience:

  • Proven administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
